ASDR offers a wide range of awards every year.
The following awards are being offered in 2024:

• Applicants must be current ASDR members
• Applicants career stage must be one of the following categories:
Enrolled PhD
Early-Mid Career researcher with ≤ 7 years post-PhD
Clinical/Derm Trainee
How to apply
• Applicants must submit their abstract before the abstract deadline, and awardees are selected from the best scoring abstracts
Assessment Criteria• Applications are assessed according to scientific quality and clarity of abstract.
Value• 3 x AUD 150 for the PhD career stage category
• 3 x AUD 150 for the EMCR career stage category
• 3 x AUD 150 for the Clinical / Dermatology Trainee category

• 1 x award plaque for the Academic category
• 1 x award plaque for the Clinical category

Selection Process• Lecturer is selected by the ASDR Board
Assessment Criteria• Lecturer is selected based on his, her or their significant contributions to the field
Value• Up to AUD 800 to support conference travel and registration costs

ASDR would like to celebrate the incredible publications of the membership and is calling for nominations for articles published online or in print.
Two awards ($100 gift cards for each winner) will be granted for each quarter, where one will be reserved for papers in which the first author is a trainee/student/ECR (within 5 years of being awarded PhD)
How to nominate:
1. Email asdr@asnevents.net.au with the subject line "Publication of the quarter".
2. Nominations are called for each quarter.
3. Include a link to the publication.
4. State the date of e-publication or in-print publication.
5. State the nominee's name and confirm they are an ASDR member.
6. Specify which award category they wish to be considered for Standard or Trainee/Student/ECR
